Slip Resistance Testing
The slip resistance testing of concrete floors is conducted in accordance with European and British standards. This process evaluates the surface’s ability to prevent slip and fall accidents by measuring its friction coefficient and slip resistance performance.

PCE Vietnam offers slip resistance testing for concrete floors in compliance with BS EN 16165-2021 and EN 13036 – 4:2011 standards. This standard specifies the method for measuring the slip resistance coefficient of surfaces using the Pendulum Tester to assess the safety level of floors, walkways, and other surfaces with potential slip hazards.
PCE Vietnam conducts on-site testing.
Provision of a slip resistance report based on the collected data.
Test methods:
Pendulum slip resistance tester: Simulates a heel strike by swinging a rubber slider across the surface and measuring deceleration, yielding a Pendulum Test Value (PTV).
PCE’s Concrete Floor Slip Resistance Testing Package Includes:
- Survey and presentation of slip resistance measurement methods.
- On-site sample collection and measurement.
- Report and presentation.
- Recommendations to enhance the quality of the concrete floor surface.
